The Constitutional Court decided that the Parliament decision on the dismissal of Marian Lupu from the post of Speaker is constitutional. The judges were unanimous in such a decision, IPN reports.

The Court also ruled that the holding of the interim post of Head of Parliament is also constitutional and said that a Speaker should be elected without delay.

 The Constitutional Court judges pronounced on the constitutionality of the given Parliament decisions after a number of Liberal MPs disputed their legality.
