The Government will allocate lump sums for another 16 civilians and employees of law enforcement bodies who were victims of the April 7, 2009 events, IPN reports.

The lump sum payments will vary between 1,000 and 5,000 lei, depending on the injuries caused to these persons. The allowances are set by a governmental commission based on the applications of the victims.

A number of 218 persons received lump sum payments so far.
