Luminița Odobescu: Moldova is not alone and today’s meeting confirms this

The Republic of Moldova is not alone and today’s meeting is a proof of this, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Luminița Odobescu stated upon her arrival at the fifth edition of the Moldova Partnership Platform that is taking place in Chisinau. The official noted that Romania has been and will always be by Moldova’s side, IPN reports.

“We aim to further support the Republic of Moldova on its European path, in its economic development, with inter-connectivity projects in the energy, digital, transport sectors. Romania has been and will always be by the Republic of Moldova’s side. We will discuss concrete projects today together with the European partners,” the Romanian official told journalists.

“We know that we are all going through a difficult situation with the war waged by Russia in Ukraine, with Russia’s hybrid attacks against the Republic of Moldova, against the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, but it is important to work together. What we are doing today is an example of this – to combat disinformation, to combat Russia’s hybrid attacks and to build the resilience of the Republic of Moldova,” said Luminița Odobescu.

The fifth edition of the Moldova Partnership Platform initiated by Romania, Germany and France has started in Chisinau. The event involves over 65 delegations consisting of ministers, deputy ministers, secretaries of state of the ministries of foreign affairs of the partner states, representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations.
