Lukoil-Moldova Company announced its contribution to covering the expenses for preparing agricultural fields for the autumn crops, by granting oil products worth 2 million lei in aid to farmers. The oil products, in the amount of about 190,000 litres, destined to farmers will be stored at the State Enterprise Moldresurse, which will redistribute the fuel under a Regulation approved by the Government of Moldova. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, there is need for 13,650 tons of diesel oil, estimated at 136.5 million lei, to sow a total area of 420,000ha with autumn crops (wheat – 310,000ha; barley – 50,000ha; rape – 60,000ha). Autumn farm works require a total of 48,608 tons of diesel oil estimated at 486.08 million lei.
