Lufthansa to introduce bigger aircraft on Chisinau-Munich flight
Lufthansa decided to introduce a bugger aircraft on the Chisinau-Munich flight for the winter period. Starting with October 31, the new aircraft, a modern Embraer ERJ-195, will be serving Moldova providing up to 116 seats to customers in a Business and Economy Class configuration, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the company.
“We are very pleased with the development of our Munich flight that we launched on April 22,” said Stefan Versemann, Lufthansa General Manager Romania and Moldova. “Our passenger numbers of over 13,000 passengers in the first four months and a seat load factor of currently around 80 per cent confirm our decision to serve Moldova with daily flights,” he added.
“The bigger aircraft will contribute to even more passenger comfort and add 20 per cent more capacity on the route. This underlines our commitment and confidence in the Moldovan market. We observe that our customers appreciate our reliable products and quality services on the ground and on board.”
A plane ticket to Munich costs €229 (all-inclusive).
Deutsche Lufthansa AG is an Aviation Group comprising around 400 subsidiaries and affiliates. Headquartered in Germany, the Group operates in five business segments – passenger transportation, logistics, MRO, catering and IT services. In Moldova, Lufthansa started to work on April 22, 2010.
