Lucian-Costin Miron wins chess memorial “Veaceslav Chebanenko”

Romanian chess player Lucian-Costin Miron has won the memorial “Veaceslav Chebanenko” that was held at the National Chess and Checkers Club, IPN reports.

With 6.5 points, Miron won even if he lost the last round to Dumitru Svetushkin, who ranked second with 6 points. Ivan Skitski finished third also with six points.

The tournament brought together ten chess players from Georgia, Belarus, Israel, and Moldova.
