Moldovan citizens who plan for a summer holiday in the first decade of the season can benefit, this year as well, of a special holiday promotion on the Romanian seaside within the program „A week at the seaside”. The head of the Tourism Promotion and Information Office of Romania in Moldova, Mariana Iuga, informed that the program „A week at the seaside”, initiated by the National Authority for Tourism from Romania, addresses to all categories of population till June 15. According to this program, those who want to spend a holiday at the seaside can benefit of special prices to accommodation in over 20 units of 1, 2 and 3 starts in the stations of Mamaia, Eforie Nord, Eforie Sud, Olimp, Neptun, Jupiter, Saturn, Mangalia, 2 Mai. The prices for a 7-day vacation, i.e. 6 nights, vary between 30 and 45 euro (99 and 149 RON) depending on the hotel’s class. Mariana Iuga considers that another reason for choosing the Romanian seaside is the fact that those 5 stations – Mamaia, Eforie Nord, Neptun, Venus and Saturn – got the award „Blue Flag” – on behalf of Environment Education Federation. This award shows the fact that the water of the Black Sea has good quality. This program is a symbol of environmental protection at highest standards, and the beaches are popular among tourists. The program „A week at the seaside” has a 5-year tradition in Moldova and is proposed to Moldovan tourists by 20 travel agencies from Chisinau and Balti.
