Starting with November 21, the low-cost airline Fly Dubai will operate by two flights from Chisinau every week. Such an agreement was reached by Prime Minister Iurie Leanca and Fly Dubai commercial director Jeyhun Efendi, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Government, Fly Dubai has connections with almost 60 destinations. This will offer the Moldovans the possibility of having connections with new destinations. “We will become a bridge for establishing relations of friendship between Moldova and the United Arab Emirates and with other less accessible countries owing to distance,” said Jeyhun Efendi.

Iurie Leanca welcomed the coming of Fly Dubai to Chisinau, saying the direct flights Chisinau - Dubai will significantly improve the investment attractiveness of the tourism sector and of Moldova in general

The official launch of the direct Dubai - Chisinau flight will be announced by Premier Iurie Leanca and the president of Fly Dubai Ghaith Al Ghaith in September. Iurie Leanca was invited to be one of the passengers of the first flight from Chisinau to Dubai.
