A 25-year-old woman committed suicide yesterday by leaping from the 9th floor of a Chisinau apartment building on Ismail Street, Info-Prim Neo reports. The woman, apparently drunk, was said to have had a phone conversation with her boyfriend prior to jumping, which indicates relationship problems as the most plausible motive, a spokesperson for the General Police Commissariat told Info-Prim Neo. The woman was studying at a university in Chisinau.
