The municipality of Chisinau next year aims to collect 520.5 million lei in the local budget from local taxes, by 132.5 million more than in 2024. The tax for commercial units is to bring 266 million lei or 51.1% of the planned revenues to the municipal budget. The document was proposed for public consultations, IPN reports.

The sanitation tax will be maintained at the level of 120 lei annually and will bring revenues of 80 million lei.

The fee for organizing auctions and lotteries is proposed to be set at the rate of 0.32%, with planned revenues of 21 million lei.

The ads placing tax will be 6.4%, with planned revenues of 3.9 million lei. The tax for advertising devices is proposed to be 952 lei/m2 and 440 lei/m2 for the image displayed in vehicles, with revenues of 16.8 million lei.

The tax for the application of local symbols will be 0.3%, and the estimated budget from this tax is 1.1 million lei. The tax for accommodation will be 5.8% and the budget collected will be 45 million lei.

The parking fee is proposed to be set at 38 lei/m2. The market tax will oscillate between 19 and 1,070 lei. From here, 14.5 million lei are to be collected.

Starting next year, the tax for the provision of passenger transport services by taxi will be by 40 lei higher than the current year - 440 lei.

Following the amendments made to the Fiscal Code, the tax for dog owners was excluded.
