As of December 1, 2017, the National House of Social Insurance (CNAS), through the agency of its local subdivisions, will issue more types of certificates or extracts of accounts to clients on verbal request, immediately. Earlier, these were issued by the Central Office of the CNAS and the local subdivisions within 30 working days, depending on complexity, IPN reports.

According to the CNAS, the clients can ask for the necessary information from any local house of social insurance house (client service), regardless of the place of domicile, on the presentation of the identity card. The certificates or extracts of account are issued in Romanian or Russian, depending on the request or the purpose.

If the information is requested by a third person, an application should be submitted together with the documents showing that the applicant has the right to information. The applications filed in written form are examined within 15 working days.

Last year the CNAS issued about 260,000 certificates or extracts of different types to private individuals and legal entities.
