The local general elections in Moldova will be held on November 5, 2023, as the Central Election Commission (CEC) decided on Tuesday, IPN reports.

According to the Commission, the decision takes effect on August 7, 2023, when the election period starts.

The election camping begins with the registration of election contenders, but not earlier than 30 days before election day.

In the immediate period, the CEC will work out and approve the program for the organization and holding of the local general elections.
