Elections for mayor will take place in 17 Moldovan settlements on May 16. Seventeen electoral councils and 42 polling place offices will be set up for holding the elections. The government will allocate 826,600 million lei from its reserve fund for organizing the elections and printing ballots, Info-Prim Neo reports. The total costs are estimated at 1.09 million lei. A sum of 269,300 lei was earmarked in the state budget for these elections.
