Among other problems mentioned by the local authorities was the supply of the district with drinking water of a high quality. The authorities suggested launching a common project to supply water to Rezina and Rybnitsa towns, noting that such an initiative existed before the Nistru armed conflict and, if such a project is implemented now, it will contribute to bringing closer the two towns from the banks of the river.
The Premier called on the representatives of the local public administration to more actively become involved in the solving of local problems and to combine forces with the central authorities so as to ensure the people’s welfare. “We should identify the causes of the problems and intervene. If we want to succeed, we must have a constructive dialogue and join forces. The people must live better here, in the country,” stated Pavel Filip.
He also spoke about the reforms done by the Government, noting that besides the justice sector reform, the reform of the law enforcement bodies and stabilization of the banking system, special attention is devoted to the health sector. In this regard, the executive took a series of measures and reduced the prices of drugs, enlarged the range of medical services provided based on the insurance policy and introduced a pay system based on performance in healthcare.
