LOC supports PNL in June 9 European Parliament elections

The League of Towns and Communes of Moldova (LOC) supports the National Liberal Party of Romania in the European Parliament elections set for June 9, IPN reports. “On June 9, we vote for Europe! We vote for the PNL-PSD Alliance, position No. 2 on the ballot,” reads a Facebook post of the party.

According to the LOC, in the person of PNL MEPs, the Republic of Moldova had the most sincere and faithful supporters of the European path. “Rareș Bogdan, Siegfried Muresan and other colleagues in the European Parliament have been our guides on the path of European integration.”

The party also notes that, under the guidance of PNL chairman Nicolae Ciucă and under the aegis of the parliamentary group of the European People’s Party to which the PNL belongs, the Republic of Moldova has advanced in the EU integration process and overcome the multiple crises of recent years.

“The League of Towns and Communes, as a partner party, urges its members and supporters to stand by the PNL in these elections and ensure the continuity of our European path, by delegating and massively supporting PNL candidates,” the post also reads.

For the European Parliament elections, 52 polling stations will be available in the Republic of Moldova. For the citizens of Romania and Bulgaria, a number of polling stations were established, while for the citizens of other countries the voting will take place at the diplomatic missions located in Moldova.
