Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Liviu Volconovici wished success in the new post to the director of the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture Nicolae Ciubuc, who was proposed for minister of agriculture on September 18. In a posting on Facebook, Volconovici says his term in office as a minister was a nice challenge that made him experience different states.

Liviu Volconovici said it was a period when the small team he managed made a maximum effort, but the harvest does not depend on the hoe only. He noted he is grateful to the Democratic Party for the office he was offered even if he wasn’t a member of the party.

“I will now return to my teaching work at the Agrarian University, which occupies a separate place in my heart and my career. I’m at peace with myself as there too, by the daily work we will do together with the teaching staff, we will grow generations of professionals who, for their part, will bring progress to this area,” wrote Liviu Volconovici.

Volconovici was invested as Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment on January 10 this year.
