The encounter between Litex Loveci and Veris Chisinau, of the first qualifying round of Europa League, was postponed for a day because it rained heavily in Loveci on Thursday. The game was transferred to Sofia and will be played at 8:45pm on July 11.

“I don’t think that somebody will win something from the one-day delay. Anyway, we are sure that we can qualify for the next round,” Veris captain Petru Racu has told IPN.

The first-leg match ended in a 0-0 draw. In the second qualifying round, the winner will meet the holder of the Cup of Hungary’s League Diosgyor.

In the evening of July 10, Zimbru and FC Tiraspol played the return matches. Zimbru qualified after beating Skendija 2-0, the return game ending by 2-1 in favor of the Macedonian team. FC Tiraspol failed to qualify for the second round after being again beaten by Inter Baku. After losing at home by 2-3, the Tiraspol team was defeated in Azerbaijan 3-1.
