The Government approved the list of travel documents issued by foreign countries and territorial entities, as well as by international organizations, that will be accepted when crossing the state border of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.

The explanatory note to the approved regulation says this list will facilitate the work of officers at border crossing points and will ensure the security of Moldova's borders. The models of documents will serve as samples for both border police officers and experts in carrying out verifications.

The measure is in line with the visa liberalization regime with the European Union and with the Border Police's efforts to offer security and quality services to people traveling to Moldova.
