List of compensated drugs enlarged
The list of drugs that are paid fully or partially form the compulsory health insurance funds was extended by 76 names, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM).
There were included 66 new names of medications for treating gastrointestinal diseases. Their prices are covered by the CNAM partially. The drugs form part of five groups of common international names: clarithromycinum, metronidazolum, omeprazolum, famotidinum, pancreatinum.
There will be fully covered the prices of six types of multivitamins enriched with iodine, intended for children aged between 0 and 18.
Pregnant women will also benefit from fully compensated drugs. The list of medications for them was extended by four types of drugs for preventing and treating anemia. The drugs form part of the group of multivitamins designed for pregnant women.
The CNAM covers the prices of over 700 types of registered drugs or 90 types of drugs with international common names.
