The Loan Facility for Young People with a discount of two percentage points on interest rates now is operational. The Facility is accessible through the subsidiaries of nine banks across the country, IPN learned from the Ministry of Finance.

Young entrepreneurs who are 18 to 35 years old at the time of filing the application and own 75% or more of the business can apply for loans through this mechanism. Young people can borrow up to 1.5 million lei for expenses related to goods and services, including circulating capital.

The nine financial institutions with which the Ministry has signed cooperation agreements are: Moldindconbank, Mobiasbanca, MoldovaAgroindbank, Comerţbank, Fincombank, Moldcredit, EuroCreditBank, Energbank, and Procredit Bank.
