The nontaxable limit of the value of the goods imported into Moldova by people will be increased from €200 to €300 from January 1, 2014, IPN reports, quoting Anastasia Certan, division head at the Ministry of Finance.

In a roundtable meeting centering on the new elements of the fiscal and customs policy for 2014, Anastasia Certan said no VAT, excises and customs duties will be paid on goods to the value of up to €300 imported into Moldova.

The bill with amendments to the legal acts concerning the fiscal and customs policy for 2014 is to be endorsed by the Government and Parliament.
