A new National Division team has changed its coach. Lilian Popescu replaced Iurie Osipenko as the coach of Petrocub-Hancesti, IPN reports.

Osipenko had a good season at Petrocub, which ranked sixth in the championship and qualified for the semifinals of Moldova’s Cup. Even so, the team from Hancesti decided to replace the coach. Lilian Popescu last trained Sheriff, with which it won the Super Cup of Moldova in 2015. He also trained Olimpia, Nistru, FC Costuleni, Veris and FC Tiraspol.

Petrocub already resumed the training for the new season that starts at the beginning of July.
