Lilia Palii, secretary of state at the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, was appointed as secretary general at the same Ministry by a Government decision on July 8, IPN reports.

Minister of Economy Sergiu Railean said that Lilia Palii has rich professional and managerial experience, especially in public administration, and devoted ten years of her career to the Ministry of Economy.

“In the current period, we have the difficult mission of coping with a multitude of challenges generated by the pandemic crisis in the business sector, of coming up with urgent solutions to the most unexpected situations, of revitalizing the economy. For the purpose, we need devoted people, a solid and professional team. I’m sure that Missis Palii will be that chain that will strengthen the institution’s capacities and will manage to ensure the achievement of all the proposed objectives,” stated Sergiu Railean.

In the same Cabinet meeting, Elena Oleinic-Slivinschi was named as vice director general of the Investment Agency, while Mihail Casapu was appointed as vice director general of the Public Property Agency.
