The men accused of murdering a woman who worked as forester in Fantana-Alba village of Edinet district got life. These were found guilty of intentional murder, destruction of property and large theft, IPN reports.

The crime was committed in the woman’s house on the night of May 1 this year. In a press release, the Prosecutor General’s Office says the men came to the victim’s home and got into a quarrel over an alleged debt. They beat her cruelly, until the woman died. To hide the crime, these set the house on fire.

The aggressors stole goods and animals from the forester’s homestead, which they transported by the victim’s car. Later they also set fire to the car in a wood in Edinet.

The convicts, both aged 53, are from Balti municipality. They pleaded not guilty. The sentence is not yet definitive.
