Lies and misinformation have been PCRM’s instruments in all election campaigns, PL

The assertion that the Liberal lawmakers drafted a bill allowing the import of waste in Moldova, which was made by the candidate for mayor of Chisinau of the Communist Party (PCRM) Igor Dodon, is untrue and is aimed at misinforming the public opinion and the voters. Related statements were made by the MP of the Liberal Party (PL) Boris Vieru in a news conference, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. “The Communist candidate’s assertion forms part of the PCRM’s lies targeting the Liberal Party and its candidates. It shows once again that the PCRM remained a totalitarian party,” said Boris Vieru. According to the Liberal lawmaker, the instruments used by the PCRM in election campaigns after April 5, 2009 and before did not include the ideas and projects, professionalism and honesty, but blatant lies, misinformation of the public opinion, and manipulation of the truth. “This squalor thrown by the PCRM into the public space of Moldova, which is comparable only with the pestilential stench that has been felt by the Chisinau residents during 42 years, as it came from the wastewater treatment station built by them, is designed to hide the reality that can hardly be hidden,” said Boris Vieru. He also said that the Liberal Party is obliged to warn society about the dangers posed by Communists’ practices to democracy in Moldova and the moral and social climate, given the manipulation actions taken by the PCRM. The Liberals condemn the guerilla political technologies of the PCRM and describe them as illegal and immoral.
