Lilia Palii was named as head of the Licensing Chamber, which is now subordinated to the Ministry of Economy. Earlier, she worked at the Ministry of the Economy and was involved in a number of projects. During the last three years, she had worked for a representative office of Moldova abroad, Info-Prim Neo reports. Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar said the Ministry is preparing a bill to significantly reduce the number of entrepreneurial activities that are subject to licensing. This is stipulated in the plan of measures for removing the administrative constraints in the business sector formulated by the Ministry. He also said that the Licensing Chamber will be empowered with the right to issue a number of authorizations that are now granted by divisions of the Ministry of Economy. It is planned that the authorizations will be issued by a one-stop office so as to facilitate the issuing procedure and save time and resources.
