Licenses will be issued on the Internet
Implementing the e-licensing system is one of the key objectives of the Licensing Chamber in 2012. Director Valentin Guznac said that about 10% of the license issuing and extensions in the fourth quarter would be coordinated with the implementation of the one stop shop, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Valentin Guznac added that tools would be developed for checking if license-holders met the license conditions, based largely on the risk management and juridical culture of license-holders.
2511 licenses were issued in 2011. The average time for issuing a license was 3 days and 3.9 days for processing renewal applications. The deadlines stipulated in the legislation are 5 and 10 workdays respectively. The Licensing Chamber issued 1420 authorizations for export to EU countries in preferential regime.
