Liberals request questioning CCCEC administration over Baccalaureate session
The chairman of the Liberal Party Mihai Ghimpu asked questioning the administration of the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime (CCCEC) over the violations identified in the Baccalaureate session and the intervention of the Center’s officers. “Since when is the Center concerned whether the students copy or not? This is the task of the National Exams Commission,” he said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
Mihai Ghimpu said he is bothered by the fact that the CCCEC officers traumatize the children psychologically when they search them using special devices. “They found a method of combating corruption – through bra,” he stated angrily.
Democratic MP Stela Jantuan stressed that Minister of Education Mihai Shleahtitski should be also questioned so that he says what the Ministry did throughout the year to combat corruption during the Baccalaureate exams.
In the second Baccalaureate exam, in the foreign language, the CCCEC searched a number of Baccalaureate centers and domiciles. On June 13, five heads of Baccalaureate centers were dismissed owing to the identified violations. A secretary of a center was also discharged, while tens of supervisors are to be replaced.
