Liberal reformers present their emblem

The Liberal Reforming Party presented it emblem on September 14. The party’s symbol is the graphic image of a blue eagle on a white background that has 12 golden stars of different sizes arranged in a circle on its wing. MP Valeriu Saharneanu said that these colors were chosen because they represent the nuances of international liberalism, IPN reports.

“The eagle symbolizes the feeling of reformation and progress. It is heading for Europe, standing on the stars, which are the symbol of Europe,” Valeriu Saharneanu told in a news conference that was given in the party’s new head office, on Mihai Eminescu St in Chisinau.

The MP announced that more than 15,000 persons have lately applied to become members of the party. The constitution program will be staged in October.

The Liberal Reforming Party’s leader Ion Hadarca said that the party already has local organizations in most of the districts. “From now on, our activities will be transparent, aimed at this country’s people. We want to become a force that will renew and modernize the political class, with pro-European opening,” he stated.

In November, before the Vilnius Summit, the Liberal reformers will organize the people’s assembly in the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau. It will involve all the pro-European democrats.
