Liberal reformers and Lib-Dems to exchange responsibilities

The Liberal reformers and the Liberal-Democrats agreed to exchange responsibilities in the ministries of which they are in charge according to the agreement on the constitution of the Pro-European Coalition, the leader of the Liberal reformers Ion Hadarca has told IPN. According to the MP, the Democrats insist that the ministers should create their own teams.

Recently, the Democrats’ leader Marian Lupu said it will be better if the ministers named by a certain party are allowed to form their own teams so that the deputy ministers form part of the same political wing.

The Democrats manage six ministries. In five of them they intend to appoint new deputy ministers. These are: the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, and the ICT Ministry. Though it is headed by a representative of the Democrats, the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure is in the care of all the parties that signed the agreement.
