The Liberal Party filed an application to Vlad Filat, demanding dismissing Minister of the Environment Gheorghe Salaru and Minister of Defense Vitalie Marinuta, who were put forward by the Liberals. The announcement was made by Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Moldovan at the end of the April 17 meeting of the Government.

Premier designate Vlad Filat said that he didn’t see the application yet, while the two ministers stated that there is no use discharging them as the Cabinet was dismissed and is to be replaced by another one.

Vitalie Marinuta voiced hope that the reformation of the Liberal Party will take place and he will be a member of this party whose ideals he shares.
