The Constitutional Court validated the seat of MP of Oleg Ogor, of the Liberal Party. On July 29, Parliament declared one seat of MP vacant. This was vacated by Liberal MP Veaceslav Untila, who was named head of the Audit Office, IPN reports.
The Constitutional Court ascertained that Oleg Ogor, who is a substitute candidate on the list of the Liberal Party, submitted to the Central Election Commission a statement by which he accepts the seat of MP and assumes the obligation to remove the incompatibilities within the legal time limits. It identified no circumstances that could hamper the validation of the seat.
