Liberal lawmaker Mihai Moldovanu renounced the seat of MP in order to return to the post of head of the Health Division of the Chisinau Municipal Council. Mihai Moldovanu attended the June 14 meeting of the Chisinau City Hall. Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca, deputy chairman of the Liberal Party, explained that Mihai Moldovan will hold the old position, while the acting Health Division head Luminita Suveica will become deputy head. Mihai Moldovanu confirmed for Info-Prim Neo that he quit his seat of MP. “I like working as part of a team and wanted to return to my team at the City Hall,” Moldovanu said, stressing he will not miss the parliamentary sittings. Mihai Moldovanu is the second member of the Alliance for European Integration, after Vitalie Nagacevschi, who chose to hold another post than that of MP.
