The Liberal-Democratic Party (PLDM) has nominated Victor Bodiu, the Cabinet's Secretary, as candidate for the mayor's race in Chisinau. The announcement was made by the party's leader, Vlad Filat, at the PLDM's general assembly on Sunday, Info-Prim Neo reports. Victor Bodiu stated he would strive to win the post in order to ensure a competent management of the municipality. “The municipality mustn't be governed following political principles anymore, but following sound management rules”, said the Liberal-Democrat hopeful.
