Lib-Dems will take a decision on vote for Government on Jan. 13, MP

After the meeting with representatives of the Democratic Party, Lib-Dem Valeriu Giletski said the Liberal-Democratic parliamentary group will take a final decision as regards its vote for the future Cabinet on January 13. He noted that the Democrats provided answers to some of their questions and he will inform his colleagues about the discussed issues, IPN reports.

“We received answers to a part of the questions we put in the meeting, but the other questions remained unanswered. We decided that we will convene a meeting of our parliamentary group tomorrow morning. We will inform the group about the discussion and will take a decision,” stated Valeriu Giletski.

As to the candidate for Prime Minister, the lawmaker said that also tomorrow the Democratic Party will convoke its Political Bureau to take a decision as to the candidate. As regards the composition of the future Cabinet, he stated that when the name of the candidate is made public, all those who are disposed to support the Government will start negotiations.

Valeriu Giletski said the Democratic Party insists that it is entitled to suggest a candidate. “They said there are several possible candidates and they will choose one in the first part of January 13,” stated the MP.

Recently, seven Liberal-Democratic MPs expressed their readiness to vote for the future Government and formed a parliamentary majority together with the Democrats, Liberals and the 14 former Communists.
