Lib-Dem businessmen form professional association

The managers and business people from the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) have formed a professional association, which will be chaired by MP Valeriu Strelet, elected to this post on Saturday by 265 delegates at the association's founding convention, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Declaration adopted at the convention says that an efficient government working to the benefit of all the citizens can be achieved only as part of a plenary process of renewal of the administrative staff with competent and honest functionaries. “Only with our joint efforts, of the entire society, will we be able to achieve out major objective – to eliminate poverty and move Moldova closer to the European Union”, the Declaration says.
Besides the Association of Managers and Businesspeople, PLDM has a number of other affiliated professional and social organizations: the Association of Liberal Democrat Doctors and Pharmacists, the Association of Teachers, the Association of Artists, and the Association of Seniors.
