The number of persons who benefit from service free of charge in the Official Delegations Room of the “International Chisinau Airport” State Enterprise was reduced. This Governmental decision came into force along with its publication in the last edition of “The Official Monitor of the Republic of Moldova” newspaper. The representatives of Moldova’s leadership, their guests, foreign ambassadors, when coming to Moldova or leaving the country will be served for free. Also family members (1st and 2nd degree) of the aforementioned categories of persons are included in the list of beneficiaries, as well as the members of the official delegations who accompany them. Other persons, such as the members of the Government, MPs, general mayor of Chisinau and other high officials, their spouses, as well as the member of the official delegations led by them will be served in the Room of Official Delegations for a fee, which will be paid by the institution they represent. The tariff for a person constitutes MDL 50. Also, the regulations stipulate the list of persons served in the VIP Room, who pay 10% of the settled fee. This list includes deputy ministers, leaders of the local public administration, chairmen of Parliament’s standing committees, holders of diplomatic passports etc. According to the old regulations, the deputy chairmen of the Parliament, deputy ministers, and the chairmen of Parliament’s standing committees, members of the Government and other high official also benefited from free services. The Government of the Republic of Moldova approved this decision on August 15.
