Travelers who intend to cross the border through the Leova-Bumbăta customs and border post are warned that the post will be closed today for a few hours as from 3p.m., IPN reports.
The Border Police and the Customs Service said the post will be inaccessible from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. in connection with maintenance works on the pontoon bridge.
“Currently, the vehicle traffic there is not heavy. We recommend choosing in advance a nearby border customs post: Cahul or Leușeni,” said the authorities.
