Leonid Oleinicenco has been unanimously elected as the president of the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF), at a convention held by the governing body of Moldovan football at the FMF Arena in Ciorescu.
Oleinicenco, the sole candidate, replaced Pavel Cebanu, who had been at the helm of FMF for 22 years. Prior to his election, Olenicenco was the Federation’s executive director. His term is until January 2021.
“The Federation’s team remains stable. I am sure we will need the support of specialists from IT, communication, and other fields (to bolster it)”, Leonid Oleinicenco told a press conference.
