Minister of Education Leonid Bujor is participating in the seventeenth conference of the CIS education ministers at the invitation of Russian Minister of Education and Science Andrei Fursenko. The conference takes place in Moscow on July 8-9, Info-Prim Neo reports. The conference centers on the medium-term priorities in the cooperation in education and research between the CIS members states, creation of the CIS university consortium, holding maths, physics, biology and other Olympiads in the CIS. On July 9, Leonid Bujor will take part in an international conference themed “Techno-scientific and innovation development of the CIS member states – prospects of strengthening interaction for integration”. The conference will discuss the techno-scientific and innovation development tasks of the CIS, methods of improving interstate cooperation in science and innovation, development of cooperation between research, techno-scientific and education institutions and other issues.
