Legislative proposal to repeatedly remove Anatolie Zagorodnyi

MP of the PAS group of the ACUM Bloc Dumitru Alaiba proposed dismissing again Anatolie Zagorodnyi from the post of director general of the National Agency for Dispute Resolution and from that of adviser at this Agency. He registered a legislative proposal to this effect with the Parliament’s Secretariat, IPN reports.

In a press briefing on February 26, Dumitru Alaiba reminded that Anatolie Zagorodnîi was first removed by Parliament on July 5, 2019, but he was meanwhile reinstated in both of the posts by decisions made by the Rascani branch of the Chisinau City Court.

According to the MP, the contest at which Anatolie Zagorodnyi was chosen to serve as adviser at the National Agency for Dispute Resolution wasn’t held openly, impartially and transparently. The norms were violated in particular at the results assessment stage. The final scores weren’t presented to all the MPs of the commission on economy, budget and finance.

Dumitru Alaiba also said that Anatolie Zagorodnyi does not meet the legal conditions for holding the post of adviser at the National Agency for Dispute Resolution. He didn’t have at least three years’ experience in public procurement and he should have been disqualified.

The MP noted the goal of the proposal is to put right a mistake made by the previous legislature.
