The Legal Information Center is reorganized by being transformed into the Legal Information Resources Agency. The new body that will be managed by the Ministry of Justice will have the duty of ensuring the development of the integrated legal information system and of developing, managing and ensuring the interoperability of the information systems of the justice sector, IPN reports.
Under a Government decision approved on July 4, the new body will keep the state registers and other information systems of the justice system and will apply the apostille and legalize official acts of the Republic of Moldova. The Agency will provide information services according to the nomenclature and tariffs approved by the Government.
The Agency will ensure the systemization and publication of laws, Parliament decisions and Constitutional Court judgement, decisions, ordinances and orders of the Government and presidential decrees. It will contribute to editing and republishing regulations and to preparing collections of regulations for editing and will work out concepts, reference terms and technical documents required in the procurement of IT solutions.
The Agency is managed by a director that is hired and fired by order of the minister of justice.
