Jean Asselborn said his country will continue to support the Republic of Moldova and the projects in the financial-banking, defense, home affairs, economic and other sectors will be given priority. “I’m here to closer familiarize myself wil the developments in your country. The situation is difficult, but, if we look at the European Union, the situation there is similar. We understand that support is needed and we will continue to provide it,” stated the official.
Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur reminded that this year it has been 25 years of the establishment of cooperation relations with the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg. The Luxembourgian authorities were firm and reliable supporters of the reform and European integration processes in Moldova.
“We agreed to continue the political dialogue between the two states at a more dynamic pace. The economic cooperation has an unused potential. We need to establish closer relations between the business communities of the two countries,” stated Andrei Galbur.
