Legal entities will pay less into Chisinau budget, but more into state budget
The volume of income taxes paid by legal entities into the Chisinau budget will be diminished by law, but the volume of taxes paid into the state budget will be increased, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the legislative amendments for optimizing public spending, proposed by the Ministry of Finance for debates.
Currently, the legal entities based in the municipality of Chisinau pay 50% of the taxes into the municipal budget and 50% of the taxes into the state budget. On the other hand, when the rate of incomes per inhabitant is higher than the local budget costs, the revenues that exceed 20% of the minimum budget spending are transferred from the budget of the given territorial unit, in this case the municipality of Chisinau, to the state budget fund for financially supporting the territorial-administrative units.
A sum of 656 million lei is to be transferred from the Chisinau budget this year. The ratio of the taxes that will be paid by the legal entities into the state and municipal budgets will 50%:30%.
In order to exclude fiscal inequity, the Ministry of Finance suggested diminishing by law the volume of income tax paid by legal entities into the budget of Balti municipality.
