Iurie Leanca today presented to Prime Minister Vlad Filat his resignation from the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a press release from the Ministry, the decision has been made after last year Minister Leanca publicly promised to resign if he failed to secure by January 2012 the conditions necessary for the EU to waive short-term visas for Moldovans in the Schengen Area.
