The Leanca Government does not have chances to become a Government for European integration. It will be a national embarrassment Government whose fate depends on Vlad Plahotniuc, the leader of the People’s Movement “Antimafie” Sergiu Mocanu told a news conference on May 27.
“The Filat Government promoted mainly the interests of a mafiotic clan, but the Leanca Government will be a much easier pray for Plahotniuc than the Cabinet of Filat,“ said Mocanu, who considers that Leanca cannot meet the people’s expectations.
According to Sergiu Mocanu, they struggle now for the institutions that were earlier controlled by Vlad Plahotniuc and the result can be easily anticipated – the Government will be fully controlled by Plahotniuc or there will be no Government at all.
Sergiu Mocanu also said that the alliance is actually formed between Voronin and Plahotniuc. Vlad Filat, Mihai Ghimpu and Marian Lupu are no longer important and the political talks initiated are between ‘resuscitation and vigil’. As to the PL, Mocanu said that Ghimpu failed when he didn’t present a Romanian European integration plan for Moldova.
By May 30, Prime Minister designate Iurie Leanca is to present the composition of the Cabinet and the government program, for which he will ask for a vote of confidence from Parliament.
