League of Green Youth requests Government not to fire two young deputy ministers

The League of Green Youth mounted a protest in front of the Government Building, demanding that Deputy Minister of the Environment Dorin Dusciac and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Sergiu Stanciu should not be dismissed. The representatives of the Green Ecologist Party said society is losing young valuable people because of political games, IPN reports.

Earlier, the press reported that as a result of the experienced splits, the Liberal Reformist Party (PLR) asked Prime Mister Iurie Leanca to allow discharging the two deputy ministers who were named at the suggestion of the PLR.

Gheorghe Zugravu, coordinator at the League of Green Youth, said they are protesting against the way in which the young people are treated in Moldova. The dismissal of deputy ministers Dusciac and Stanciu represents an abuse.

Another member of the organization Oleg Chicu said the government calls on the young people working abroad to return home to modernize Moldova, but these calls turn out to be false as young persons who studied in Europe are sacrificed for the sake of political games, being deprived of the chance to make themselves useful for the country and its people.

The Greens said that Moldova needs young, energetic and incorruptible people who know to differentiate between professionalism and bribe.
