Leaders of ruling alliance pretend to be arguing
The leaders of the government coalition pretend to be arguing as in reality they are not enemies, Czech Ambassador to Moldova Jaromir Kvapil told Radio Free Europe in an interview, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The diplomat compared the ruling alliances in the Czech Republic and in Moldova. If it is a coalition program, it is hard for everyone to benefit from the given arguments. It is difficult, but the coalition should know how to act and what to do, said the Czech ambassador.
Jaromir Kvapil also said that in his country there were many coalitions and they appeared because the people wanted changes. The components of the new coalitions argued initially, but always reached to a consensus over what they should do ultimately.
Asked what he thinks about the fact that rich persons entered the new legislature of Moldova, the ambassador said in the Czech Republic often happens the same and it is something positive as the larger the number of rich persons in the Government and the Parliament, the better for society.
“They no more need to become rich. They are already rich. Those who are not wealthy sometimes use politics as an elevator that could bring them affluence. It is good for rich people to become politicians, not vice versa,” said Jaromir Kvapil.
