The meeting of the three leaders of the former Alliance for European Integration wasn’t held yet, the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party Vlad Filat announced on March 27.

“We will meet when need be. The meetings for the sake of meetings are not useful. I hope we will meet soon,” he stated.

As regards the candidate for premiership, Vlad Filat voiced hope that the head of state will put forward a person within a reasonable time frame. He considers that the President wants to propose a candidate who will enjoy parliamentary support.

After the seventh round of talks on March 26, the negotiators of the three parties informed that the issues included in the agenda were considered and there are a number of matters left that must be discussed with the participation of the leaders.
