The leader of the criminal organization “Machena” will be tried for organizing the assassination of a rival criminal leader in 2008. The Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases said the murder was committed in a national penitentiary with the involvement of members of the criminal group from the same prison.
The victim was hit with hard objects in vital parts of the body and died as a result of his injuries. The perpetrators later took the body to another story of the penitentiary so as to hide the traces. The culprit promised the perpetrators privileges, such as promotion to higher ranks in the criminal organization he led.
The criminal case was restarted following the obtaining of relevant information within the case featuring the criminal organization “Machena”.

He is now serving time for creating and managing a criminal organization and for blackmail and murder planning. Earlier, the five perpetrators who committed the murder were sentenced to a total of 13 years in jail.
